QuickTrans stores certain information locally on your device, including:
- Downloaded offline language packs
- Translation history (which you can clear at any time through the App settings)
- App preferences and settings
This information remains on your device and is not automatically sent to us unless you choose to share it (for example, when reporting a problem).
Camera and Photo Access
When using the photo translation feature, QuickTrans may request access to your device's camera and photo library. This access is solely to capture images for translation purposes and to allow you to select photos from your library for translation.
Images captured or selected for translation are processed locally on your device (unless you are using an online-only feature) and are not stored or sent to us unless you explicitly choose to share them (for example, when reporting an issue with a translation).
Microphone Access
When using the live conversation feature, QuickTrans may request access to your device's microphone to record audio for translation. This audio is processed in real-time for translation purposes and is not stored unless you explicitly choose to save a conversation.
Any saved conversations are stored locally on your device and can be deleted through the App settings.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Services
- Develop new features and functionality
- Understand how users interact with the Services to improve user experience
- Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries
- Process and manage subscriptions and payments
- Detect, prevent, and address technical issues and security vulnerabilities

For offline translations, text is processed locally on your device and not sent to third-party services.

Data Retention
We retain Usage Data for as long as necessary to provide the Services and for legitimate business purposes, such as analyzing usage patterns and improving the Services. If you provide us with personal information (such as when contacting support), we will retain that information for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry or provide the requested service, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
You can delete your local translation history at any time through the App settings. If you uninstall the App, all locally stored data will be removed from your device.
